Our Vission

“For every person, to witness a world where wildlife thrives, and to value its conservation as a moral obligation”

Our Mission

Conservation

" to conserve neglected endangered species by putting local people at the center of conservation efforts"

Collaboration

" to inspire people to be involved in collaborative and inclusive conservation efforts"

Our Values

Integrity

All our activities are tied to the trust of the public, donors, governments, and local communities, as well as the fate of the species we protect. In conservation, integrity is reflected in transparency in resource management, honesty in research, and a commitment to acting ethically.

Participative

By involving local communities is one of the key roles in every process. They're actively involved in planning, decision-making, and implementation. We believe conservation can only be sustainable when communities share ownership & responsibility for protecting wildlife.

Sci-Evidence

Science-based value is grounding every our conservation effort in reliable data and evidence. From research assessments to interventions and success measurements of conservation actions, they are informed by science, ensuring that conservation actions are effective and accountable.

Collaboration

Our collaborative value creates great partnerships with NGOs, government, universities, and communities. It enables knowledge sharing, resource strengthening, and shared responsibility, ensuring greater conservation impact. By working together synergistically, we address challenges with comprehensive, sustainable approaches that benefit both biodiversity and the people

Empathy

Empathy guides how we work with people and nature. We strive to understand the perspectives, challenges, and aspirations of local communities while recognizing the value of every species. By moving with empathy, we create inclusive approaches that respect cultural contexts and strengthen human-wildlife relationship.

Our Conservation Projects

Movement Ecology of Tomistoma schlegelii

This study aims to understand the life, behavior, and homerange of the False Gharial (Tomistoma schlegelii) as essential information prior to implementing direct conservation interventions. The project is being carried out in Berbak National Park, Jambi.

Tracing Remnant Population of Siamese Crocodile

In collaboration with Yayasan Ulin, we conducted e-DNA surveys & Drone to trace remnant populations of Siamese crocodile (Crocodylus siamensis). We established Visual Encounter Surveys (VES), Drone Survey, Situational Analysis, and Conservational Education.

One-Plan Approach Conservation for Orlitia borneensis

We collaborated with WRC Jogja and GL Zoo to conduct conservation project with One-Plan Approach integrating in-situ conservation, ex-situ conservation, and mapping genetic components. Our goal is to rebuild a stable population of Orlitia borneensis in wildlife with ecosystem support and local society collaboration

Rediscovery Attenborough Long-beaked Echidna

Together with YAPPENDA (Yayasan Pelayanan Papua Nenda), we joined the Cyclops Expedition team led by Dr. James Kempton. One of the goals of this expedition was to rediscover the Payangko (Attenborough’s Long-beaked Echidna), a species thought to have been extinct for more than 60 years.
